Deepening Collaborative Research
We are a collective of people who are passionate about deepening collaborative research that have come together. We work together and see what opportunities come our way and we try to show a form of genuine collaboration. We are essentially trying to bridge the gap in coming together as young people and adults so that it doesn’t feel so distant. We listen to each other and take on each others ideas and try and build on them through discussion. We are trying to make a difference. And we are trying to ensure that everyone’s voices are represented.
One of the projects we have done is to coedit a special issue of the journal Childhood. The special issue is all about authentic collaboration, where young people and adults learn from each other, make important decisions together, and work in ways that respect each person’s strengths and experiences.
